Upside Down you turn me

Rescue units were alerted to respond to a report of a garbage truck overturned on North Boston Road at Feddick Road. Boston EMS and North Boston drew the initial dispatch at 1318hrs, bringing Engine 2, Rescue 7 to the scene. The Waste Management Refuse truck was apparently descending the Feddick Road merge with North Boston Road, when the driver at some point lost control, rolling the large vehicle over onto it's roof. The Driver escaped with minor injuries and was transported to ECMC by Boston EMS.

 Incident Commander Second Assistant Chief David Bernas coordinated efforts of the following agencies; Boston EMS, Southtowns HazMat Team, Erie County Sheriff, Waste Management, Bach's Towing and Hamburg Fire Control.

North Boston returned to service at 1824hrs, spending a lengthy afternoon assisting in the recovery of the vehicle.
